Freedom WoW puts strong emphasis on PvP

Cross-faction system prevents opposite-faction players from abusing parties to heal each other and corrupt PvP. Cross-faction battlegrounds and arena teams allowed.
Arena registration from anywhere in Azeroth – built in server-side, no client mods. Non-target cast bars in development so every player gets the same tools for fair competitive PvP.
Battle for Wintergrasp with up to 120 players per team. Regardless of cross-faction, Vault of Archavon is always faction-only.
During rated arena matches your location is hidden, preventing sniping and dodging on the arena ladder and making PvP truly competitive.
The realm runs recurrent arena season 8 with a wider matchmaking range for quicker arena pops.
Arena Spectator with anti-sniping and anti-dodging restrictions.
Implemented anti-multibox moderation for rated arena matches.

Original Blizz-Like balance preserved

Original difficulty mechanics – switch between Hard Mode and Normal mid-run inside Icecrown Citadel. No separate instance locks for Hard Mode vs Normal; one ID, your choice when you pull.
Ruby Sanctum and full Icecrown Citadel is open with the live 30% strength buff – endgame PvE as it was in the 3.3.5 era.
Developers commit to original WotLK class balance – no custom-made buffs or rewrite patches. Only QoL updates that cut friction without changing how your spec plays.
Scheduled events spawn oversized world bosses in open zones – faction-wide call-to-arms, scaled health pools, and event loot tuned for blizzlike progression. Watch announcements and rally your raid before the timer runs out.
Server-side encounter logs and raid leaderboards are in development – full fight timelines, death counts, and DPS/HPS breakdowns stored on the server, with website rankings for speed clears and progression races.
We kept the 3.3 patch Heroic Dungeon daily quests so the LFG queue stays populated – extra emblems and gold for running Halls, Pit, Forge, and the rest of the classic heroic rotation.

Freedom WoW follows four development priorities

  • Quality of Life

    Quality of Life development sets the vector for every patch: the game should feel native to the server, not patched together.

    Ukrainian nicknames, transmog, duel reset, global chat, and convenience NPCs – no separate launcher.

    Ongoing updates. Updates on login; new QoL features land with every patch.

  • Competitive PvP

    Fair, competitive PvP is our clearest direction – and shipped work backs it up.

    Anti-multibox, arena location hiding, cross-faction queues, and arena seasons are already live.

    Non-target cast bars will be implemented soon; arena spectator and other fair-play tools keep strengthening competitive PvP.

    Trust is earned in production, not on slides and mockups.

    Account protection, fair arenas, smooth login and patches, and website integration with the store and stats are already running.

  • Smart Cross-faction

    We aim for factions playing together without world abuse – with limits built into the design.

    Already available. Cross-faction groups, trade, auction house, and chat are available; heals and buffs are instance-only.

    Limits and plans. Portals and summons into hostile capitals are blocked. Ready to split faction chat and switch the realm to PvP when online allows.
