Client Patches Restriction

Good day, community!

We have always aimed to create and maintain a gaming environment where all players can enjoy fair play and equal opportunities. That’s why we are introducing an update focused on preserving balance and ensuring fair conditions for everyone.

After today’s update, you may see a message in the game chat:

Your game client has outdated or contains forbidden patch(es)

This message will be sent to players whose game client has been found to contain modifications that provide advantages over other players, as well as those that simplify or completely negate Blizz-like encounter mechanics. If you receive this message, please reinstall your game client.

Starting next Wednesday, June 4, the server will automatically terminate connections with clients in which discrepancies from the standard game client are detected. This applies only to cases where the changes may provide a player with an advantage over others — regardless of whether it was done intentionally or not.

Allowed modifications are the regular and HD game clients without additional patches that change ability textures, etc. We won’t go into technical details, as our goal is simple — to ensure equal conditions for everyone.

Using the official, unmodified 3.3.5a (12340) client or this build with the Ukrainian localization will work without any issues. If you believe you are receiving this message by mistake, please submit a ticket on Discord.
