Rules
1. DEFINITION OF "GM", ROLE AND RESPONSIBILITIES
1.1. GM — means Game Master — is responsible for handling User requests and inquiries in accordance with established rules and methods to properly manage the game and ensure Users' rights to use the game.
1.2. To ensure stable service, the GM promptly takes action and resolves service-related issues.
1.3. The GM does not participate in disputes between Users. However, if a dispute affects game balance (for example: violating game order, current rules, etc.), the GM may apply appropriate measures based on the terms of this service.
1.4. The GM may not provide any individual User with in-game advantages. Except for information published in official announcements, the GM is not allowed to give any specific User information about upcoming updates or events, or any similar information related to the service.
1.5. The GM may not request, change, or distribute a User's personal data in the game. However, if a government authority or court lawfully requests personal information, the Administration has the right to provide such information to the appropriate institution.
1.6. The GM may not interfere with gameplay, trade, interact with players, influence battleground balance, assist in dungeons, etc., except in cases related to resolving bugs, identifying/examining/fixing them.
2. USER RIGHTS AND OBLIGATIONS
2.1. The User is required to familiarize themselves with these rules. Freedom WoW Support is not obligated to assist in case of issues or losses caused by failure to follow these rules.
2.2. Users may receive services and freely use all content provided by the game.
2.3. The server Administration owns all characters, in-game items, and other game content. If problems with the game service occur, the User may submit a ticket to Support and receive information on how to resolve the issue.
2.4. The User must report to the Administration any bugs, system errors, vulnerabilities, etc. discovered while using the service. The User must not exploit them or share them with other Users. If, after discovering bugs or errors, the User does not report them and instead uses them for personal gain, such actions will be considered harmful to other Users, and according to the Terms of Use, access restrictions may be applied.
2.5. If a User spreads knowingly false information not officially announced by the server Administration, including false statements about the Administration that mislead other Users, appropriate access restrictions may be applied.
2.6. The Administration is not responsible if a User incurs losses due to being unable to log in as a result of access restrictions.
2.7. Since many Users play the online game simultaneously, Users must respect the rights of others.
2.8. The User is responsible for controlling their account information and must take measures to protect it. The Administration is not responsible for losses caused by third-party use of account data due to the User's negligence.
2.9. The User must respond to questions and participate in checks if a Game Master (GM) conducts monitoring regarding the use of prohibited software (see Section 3.5). Failure to respond or cooperate during a check may be considered an attempt to use prohibited software and may result in access restrictions.
2.10. Due to Russia's genocidal war against Ukraine and repeated acts of genocide, the use of Russian letters in character names, guild names, or pet names is prohibited, as it may provoke conflicts and offend war victims.
2.11. Real Money Trading (RMT) — selling or trading any in-game items, gold, or assets for real money — is strictly prohibited.
3. IN-GAME CHATS AND GENERAL BEHAVIOR
3.1. We strongly encourage you to use the /ignore function in the game; moderators and GMs are not here to babysit players. If you are upset or annoyed by someone, use /ignore. However, if someone violates the rules (listed below), report it in the designated channel.
3.2. No offensive expressions are allowed in chat or voice channels related to racism, sexism, violence, sexual content, slurs about orientation, hate speech, any excessive offensive or explicit language, pornographic or otherwise inappropriate references. If you encounter such behavior, immediately report it to moderators via Discord.
3.2.1. Any threats or hints of real-life physical violence (even as a joke) are strictly forbidden. Such statements are considered a serious threat to community safety and will result in an immediate permanent ban without appeal.
3.3. The World chat is our holy grail, and we moderate it to keep it comfortable.
3.3.1. Only Ukrainian and English languages are allowed in the World chat. You may create other channels to use any language elsewhere.
3.3.2. To avoid conflicts, Russian language is prohibited in all general-purpose chats such as zone general chats, group and raid chats in PvP areas, guild recruitment, LookingForGroup, and random dungeon chats — until Russia fully withdraws its troops from the entire territory of Ukraine and completely repays all reparations owed to victims of the war in Ukraine.
3.4. We allow any amount of accounts to be registered per player, as long as the owner of multiple accounts does not abuse this opportunity. We consider ANY ACTIONS using multiple accounts that create an unfair advantage or negatively affect the gameplay of other players as abuse. This applies to abuse when using multiple accounts simultaneously. Complaints about such actions may be reason for verification and assessment of their negative impact by the administration.
3.4.1. 5 accounts are allowed online simultaneously. Any attempts to bypass the limit of 5 accounts online simultaneously per one player will result in a limited period of blocking. The administration reserves the right to determine linked accounts by IP address, hardware and other technical information.
3.5. The use of cheats, hacks, third-party software, scripts, emulators, bots, autoclickers, external macros or scripts with the function of full or partial automation, as well as any systems based on artificial intelligence or other algorithms that perform actions in the game without the direct participation and control of the User is strictly prohibited on the server. Any form of automation that allows a character to perform game actions (farming, combat, movement, trading, using abilities, interacting with NPCs or objects, etc.) without active manual control by the player in real time is prohibited. Violations are considered gross and result in permanent blocking of all associated accounts without warning or discussion.
3.6. Intentional harassment aimed at harming other players' gameplay over a long period is considered griefing and is punishable. This includes repeatedly killing quest NPCs in low-level areas or intentionally provoking players into enabling PvP mode.
3.7. The Administration reserves the right to act against accounts for any malicious behavior even if not explicitly listed in these rules. These rules may be updated at any time without notice.
Rules 3.8 and 3.9 were optimized to prevent duplication. The original numbering has been preserved.
3.10. AI-controlled characters are allowed for text-only chat in all chat rooms except the World channel, provided that the following requirements are met: the character must be level 1, and the character's nickname must begin with the prefix «Bot». Any other use of AI to chat or disguise such characters as regular players may result in sanctions.
3.11. Any artificial or fraudulent manipulation of PvP match outcomes on the Arena and Battlegrounds (BG) is prohibited. This includes, but is not limited to: arranging staged matches; agreements to win or lose for rating, honor, achievements, or other in-game benefits; intentional throwing (refusing to fight, quickly conceding, deliberately losing); intentional inactivity or sabotage on BG (AFK, non-participation in combat, deliberately harming your own team); simultaneous registration for rated Arena from two or more game windows (clients) by one player; using multiple accounts or characters to artificially inflate rating or other PvP statistics. Violations may result in rating reset, temporary or permanent account bans, and other sanctions at the Administration's discretion.
